The estate
Farmland by the railway, turned over to local business
In 1963 Jack Wright bought farmland next to the railway at Great Bentley and began the estate now known as Plough Road Business Centre.
It is still owned and managed by the family company, Wright Ruffell Ltd. Most of the estate is small businesses that hire locally, and tenants often share what they know and help one another out.
